However, the real stir arose from the unexpected identity of another person in the pink guard outfit sitting beside her. The photo was later revealed to be from footage not included in Season 2, hinting at a major plot twist in Season 3.

Although Park Gyu-young swiftly deleted the post, the image had already spread widely across online communities and social media platforms. Fans expressed frustration, lamenting being exposed to unwanted spoilers.

Meanwhile, Park Gyu-young’s agency has since responded to the alleged spoiler with a simple statement, saying, “Please confirm the details through Season 3.”

This comes on the heels of another “Squid Game” controversy involving actor Park Sung-hoon. He shocked the public by accidentally posting explicit content related to “Squid Game” on his SNS story.

Park Sung-hoon’s agency initially claimed “It was a mistake while checking DMs“, but later changed their explanation, stating, “He made a mistake while trying to send it to the person in charge.” This clumsy response only fueled further criticism.

With both Park Sung-hoon’s explicit content scandal and Park Gyu-young’s massive spoiler, “Squid Game” cast members’ SNS activities have become a significant risk for the work. How the production team will address these continuous issues remains to be seen.
